Why did your forum rename my user account to "customer yzd"

My site for years was using a custom script and it has been migrated to XF. The old site didn't have usernames by default so I had to generate random ones for the new site but you can change it from your account.

Have a way for members to find each other online and casually chat in real-time similar to a group messenger.

There is an option to start private chat in user profile page/card.

Occasionally, host larger real-time chats with a guest speaker.

Audio/video is not supported. I might build a new add-on for that, we'll see.

I enabled the option to show the Submit button, but it seems to disappear once you submit a single message.

Does anyone else have a problem with the chat breaking and the Mobile compact version (CSS) stops working as if the .less template no longer works? Let me know please. It’s strange behaviour. Keeps happening randomly and fixes it on its randomly.

You have two options:

1. Extract the zip file and drag the files from the upload folder into the root of your forum directory with your FTP client.
2. Upload the zip file directly in the Admin CP.

Edit the config.php file in the /SRC folder of your root forum directory.
Add this line at the bottom: $config['enableAddOnArchiveInstaller'] = true;

Go to /admin.php?add-ons and click on "install/upgrade from archive". Click on browse, select zip file and upload.

No. It doesn't have the feature of unread public messages only private conversations have that.

I just installed this addon. I see Chat in the nav bar, but it does nothing. It appears to be just text.

What else do I need to do ? How do I create rooms?

You mean the navigation item for Chat, has no link to the dedicated page? Can you see the Chat on other positions such all pages or Above forum lust?

From the Chat "Browse rooms" tab. You must gave all the necessary permissions set.

I am not able to get to any area to add rooms. And the server errors persist.
