Guys, just ignore this; it is all short-term noise. IB is in a much more compromising position than XenForo Ltd.. A large number of IB's communities are run on vBulletin. When the demand explosion occurs and the masses flock to xenForo, communities that run xenForo will have a competitive advantage versus those who do not.
I believe IB will be in the position where they can only [try to] mend whatever customer relationships they can and innovate vB in an exponential manner (which will require additional staff in the face of plummeting vB sales). If they cannot do that, which is the likely case, the massive supply of second-hand vB licenses (= less first-hand sales), tales of XenForo's victory, and IB's communities losing their edge + revenue to modern xF ones will start a panic among INET investors. Then, Hellman and Friedman puts IB out for sale super-cheap.
