Beta Release Date and Pricing

Since we launched the XenForo community, we've been overwhelmed with the feedback everyone has provided. Many changes and improvements have been implemented as a direct result of this feedback, so thank you to everyone that has helped shape XenForo. Ultimately, the goal has always been to release XenForo and let people use it for their own communities. We're now ready to announce our plans for XenForo 1.0.

XenForo 1.0 Beta Release

We are targeting a release of XenForo 1.0 Beta 1 in the first week of October, and a specific release date will be announced closer to this time. To be able to download the beta version, you will need to buy a license. There are no restrictions on who may buy a license or how many you may buy. Please note that beta releases are not supported and officially, we don't recommend running beta versions on production sites.

XenForo Prices and Terms

• Early Adopter Special Offer
  The beta period will begin with a special offer period, during which licenses will be sold for $100 USD. After 24 hours, licenses will return to the normal price of $140.
  
  
• Support and Updates
  A license comes with 12 months of updates and ticket support. 12-month update and support extensions will be purchasable for $40.
  
  As an additional incentive to adopt early, licenses bought during the beta period will have 12 months of updates and support starting from the date when XenForo 1.0 is released as a stable and supported version.
  
  
• VAT
  As a new company, we are not yet required to charge VAT to our European customers. However, please be aware that we will likely be required to charge VAT at some point in the future, at which point the effective price in Europe will increase. We will announce this change when it becomes necessary.
  
  
• Branding Removal
  The copyright information in the lower left corner of this XenForo pages must remain visible and unedited unless a branding-removal option is purchased at an additional cost of $250. Other extras and services will be purchasable in the future.

XenForo Server Requirements

• PHP: 5.2.4+
• MySQL: 5.0+
• PHP extensions: MySQLi, GD, PCRE, SPL, SimpleXML, DOM, JSON, iconv
• PHP safe_mode off

This script will confirm that you meet the PHP requirements. You will need to confirm the MySQL version requirement independently.
