XF 1.4 Best practice to create Super-Mods

Hello,

I come from a vBulletin forum environment where moderators have many rights. They can ban users directly, remove unwanted avatars and more.

Is there a best practice how to create such empowered Super-Mods in XenForo? And which is the best way to configure such things in XenForo?

Thank you in advance!

Kind regards,
Frank

You can use the permission system to give moderators as many permisison rights as you can. If you want to give them extra permissions that are not included, then you will need a custom developement add on.

I gave moderators as many permissions as possible, please look at the screenshot. But they are for example not allowed to edit user profiles and delete unwanted avatars.

This was the best tip ever! ;)
I was able to debug the problem. Thank you very much.

I want to give a user of us the right to modify the actual style, but only this right.
How can I do that, what are the appropriate permissions?

You are very much welcome sir :)

I think that user first of all must have access to the admin panel, then you can grant him only this permission.
