XF 1.4 Backing Up Customizations

#1
Howdy,

I have a premium theme installed on my XF and I have been customizing both the theme and the software to my likings for almost 30 hours. What do I need exactly to backup? (Right now I have no threads or members)

Do I need to backup the database and just download the software files on the live server via ftp?

If it's just the style, you can export the XML and backup any images that are related to to via FTP. For all other things, you'd have to back up the entire DB (and to be complete, the entire set of files, including data/ and internal_data).

Thank you Mike but the only concern right now is the tons of customizations I made within the templates. So I guess its just the XML and the style folder via FTP is my only concern right?

As long as you've just been editing templates and style properties in your style, that should generally be fine.
