XF 2.0 AVForums test upgrade from 1.5.18 to 2.0.4 problem - No Upgrade Available error

Hello,
got a test server set up with a copy of the live site of 1.5.18
Uploaded the files.
Went to https://xf2.avforums.com/install/ which redirects to https://xf2.avforums.com/install/index.php?upgrade/
and see this page.

What now?

Have you uploaded all the files for 2.0.4?

That maybe suggests you're haven't been successful in uploading them. First thing I'd try is reuploading them.

Yes, that was my first thought, so I uploaded the files again.

Config.php is fine. What do you mean by 'redirect'?

I think I had this problem, before I set cache to false when my test server did not have the cache my server has.

Sorry, I had a faulty cache setting in my config file on my test-server. I think that fixing that fixed my upgrade-problem or it might have been fixing write permissions on uploaded files.

Ok thanks for the reply but we don't have a cache setting in the config file and all the files uploaded ok.

Well I'm in the same boat as the OP. All the files uploaded without issue and I'm getting the same message. I've replicated the process twice.

In the OP’s case the files were simply not uploaded to the correct location (a bit of confusion related to two different servers).

Thanks Chris, I finally figured that out last night which appears to have been a result of sleep deprivation . Thanks for posting that here as well.
