Any sort of roadmap for Xenforo 2.3 ?

Copy & paste from LibraOfficeworks fine (baring the above issues). Copy & paste from OpenOffice fails weirdly (guess I need to fix that).

I've shared with @Chris D how that support has been done and a bunch of other samples.

Many thanks for your contribution; it is highly appreciated!

Yeah, adding AVIF support isn't particularly difficult but I'm not sure it's worthwhile just yet given the limited support.

Those planning to switch to either WebP or AVIF as their primary format will have to wait until both formats are available in XenForo because the switch requires real-life testing and comparison.

According to Can I Use, Edge is the only popular desktop browser that has not yet implemented AVIF, but the support should be coming soon (see “AVIF support is now available in Microsoft Edge”).

Popular because it is forced down your throat, and forced for any Windows internet search 🙃.

Huh? WebP is not dependent on AVIF (or vice versa). We will have WebP support before AVIF. You don’t need to wait until AVIF is available in XenForo for WebP to work.

You’re, of course, right, but I was making a different point: some websites, especially those that create and publish content themselves, choose to stick to a single format as their main production medium. That is why some will be choosing between WebP and AVIF, and to make that choice informed, both alternatives need to be tried out on-site.

Font Awesome 6 doesn't offer commercial licenses which allow redistribution, and we use icons that are only available in the commercial edition:

So we would have to remove all "pro" icons and leave it to administrators to purchase a license of their if they wish to use them. We're sticking with v5 for now.

I can't add icon from Font Awesome 4 or 3...

Sorry for offtopic.

That is because XenForo uses Font Awesome 5. They are not completely backwards compatible, an icon in Font Awesome 4 is not necessarily an icon in Font Awesome 5.

When xenforo 2.3 is released for any new members is the cost going to go up because of all the new features in the whole thing?

Just asking for a few people.

Also will the whole stylesheets we currently have when we run our forum be similar to what we have or will they all need tweaking?

Asking for people such as @Jake B. and @Russ

It's inevitable that 2.3 in any form would mean themes would need updates as there will be new features and templates, and changes to existing templates that would all need to be taken into account, but this would be the same as going from 2.1 to 2.2. They'd be broadly the same though, it's only with 3.0 and a new theme that they might need either substantial reworking or rebuilding from scratch, we'd need to see what the 3.0 theme entails before we'd know that for sure.

They have implied that the delay is mostly due to a migration tool, so wondering how much work there would be for the update.
