AMPXF - AMP for Xenforo 2

AMPXF - AMP for Xenforo 2 [Paid] 1.4.9

No permission to buy (€50.00)
Actually, I'm able to reproduce the same thing on our own site now.. Need to look further into that one then.. Only happens on production tho, not in our local test environments..

Right. I cleaned both caches. The source code does not seem to include the class still.

This is for a regular forum:
<i class="fa--xf far fa-comments" aria-hidden="true"></i>

And this is for category node:
<i></i>

Yeah, well that is totally fine as it works on the canonical page, it is just the AMP page where some style is missing..

I don’t know if this has been discussed here nor if it applies to us. Anyone have any insight?
It has been discussed a few times in this thread and the other AMP thread (about adding AMP support to XF)

One of the big changes there is that "Top stories" won't anymore be limited to AMP pages, and other pages with correct markup will also be featured in the "top stories" carousel...
The XF threads and AMP threads don't show up there anyway so that shouldn't change anything :D

About pagespeed AMP vs normal:
If you do a bunch of extra work to your XF site (stuff that most "laypeople" probably shouldn't do...) you can optimize the pagespeed scores to be equivalent to, or even better than AMP page scores. The fact still though is that out of the box, XF is not well-optimized for pagespeed (which Google will use as one of the many ranking factors..), so the AMP pages are automatically a "step up" from the default XF mobile speed experience :)

Anyway it is quite hard to say how it will affect rankings until they actually make the changes and we can see the real world effects of it :)

Kind of what I figured. Thanks for the fast reply!

Hi!

What happens if I have the advertisement managed by Ads Manager 2 By Siropu instead of using the default advertisement Xenforo's management? Thanks!

Why does my bot keep going to sleep? I press play, then a minute later it’s sleeping again. This is on the https://talkmh.com/ site.
I'll need to look into that, but likely something is blocking the bot from reaching the site.. I'll let you know what I find out.

Should work fine, you can use the "page criteria" to limit your existing ads to not show on AMP pages (If they use custom JavaScript), and set up new <amp-ads> to show only on AMP pages.

Should be fixed now.. for whatever reason our bot thought the site was at www instead of being non-www (have you recently changed this?), and then there is something broken with the redirect, so it didn't get the updated info about not being on www subdomain anymore..

You can try yourself: https://www.talkmh.com/tags redirects to https://talkmh.comtags/ (missing / between domain and path) which is not a valid domain..

I don't know whether this question has already been asked and answered: do sites that do not use advertising also have a clear advantage?
