Adding Resource Thread after creation?

I've approved some new resources on my forum without having "auto create thread in this forum" checked.

Is it possible to add a thread onto a resource thats already approved?

Unfortunately no, the resource would need to be recreated.

The closest I've seen is this by @Chris D .....

I don't know, though, if it'll work if you don't already have a thread associated to the resource but it might be something you or Chris might be able to build on at least instead of starting from scratch.

That addon will assign any thread to a resource, even if the resource started out with no thread.

I think it's an ideal solution for the OP's request.
