I'm using the RecentFeatures block - I was using the accordian ... neither are working and it was working fine in 1.1.4

so I just re-added it ... removed the block for RecentNews .. and now it works! haha

I have install forums in root folder of public_html.

Now main page is forum landing page and not portal. How do I make Portal page main page?

I enabled Articles and Categories view and now it looks like this:

I'm just browsing this thread so not sure if you have a solution yet we had exactly the same thing in an old version of xenporta and it was caused by ticking the globalise custom layouts but then not having a custom layout defined for that type.

After upgrading the mod to coincide with xf 1.2 (thanks @Jaxel for the update!). Somehow an option got switched so now my domain is sending me to the Forums (url.com) instead of the "home" page (url.com/portal/).

Anyone able to help point out where the option is to switch it so that url.com sends to the home page and url.com/forums/ sends to the Forums page?

I don't see the "Set as Index Controller Option" in the ACP.

Much appreciated.

In response to both of you, I think it now uses the built-in XF "route" controls. It's been mentioned several times further up this thread but add a new route in for the portal and it should work.

Thanks, had to find:

admin.php?options/list/basicBoard > Index Page Route
set to: portal/

From page 134, even though everyone was saying "It was said 2 pages ago" every 2 pages.

Admin CP > Options > Basic Board Information > Update "Index Page Route" to "portal/"

I have no idea why or how but i'm seeing a recent threads on the main index page and i dont know how to remove it.

You have an add-on installed for that, it isn't a default feature.

i have Xenporta installed.. i do use it, however i don't remember tweaking it... just standard install.

ok so i removed the recent threads block in the portal layout and added it again and its fixed now...
