XF 1.3 504 Gateway Time-out updating usergroup permissions

It started today after upgrading an addon, but disabling that addon did not stop the error from happening again.
Anything I can do about this? Our host already made the timeout really long.

You can try running "Clean Up Permissions" which may reduce the amount of work that needs to be done.

How long did it take to get the timeout?

Thanks for replying, Mike. It took three minutes to timeout.
I reset permissions and it completed in 55 seconds.
Thanks for the tip - I'll try that if I have the same problems in the future.
