XF 1.5 Users moderated update 504 Gateway Time-out

I'm owner xenforo forum with 250k users, when i update moderates users (20 users in queue, for example) i get 504 error, because update query is very slow (about 30 seconds). I don't want to increase timeout value

The server will provide the issue. 504 is a gateway timeout, your error logs will provide the cause of the issue.
