That is what i see to. The user rank should of switched to the GFX rank when this member was promoted but it stayed on registered.

It looks like you didn't rebuild the cache - if you are using Level 2 caching you need to do that after you have finished setting up the ranks.

Go to Tools -> Rebuild Cache -> Rebuild User Rank Association Cache. You only need to do this when you have edited the user group ranks.

This is mentioned in the main resource post - maybe you missed it.

1.2 pretty much has this built-in, and I haven't been able to update this addon to include the functionality I advertised (to which I apologize)

If I have the motivation again. I don't run a forum anymore, other coding projects are taking over, and I just plain have other priorities.

How much effort would it take to convert it into 1.3

it seems to be causing issues with the PM system and the forum topics

(in a sense that the entire page turns white and won't load )

It will probably require me to tweak the rendering bit.

I might do it someday, but there doesn't seem to be a market for criteria-based rank display.

The box is not designed to automatically stretch, and my addon does not change this behaviour. You'll need to change the width of your messageUserBox accordingly.
