Responsive Message Controls Menu

Unmaintained Responsive Message Controls Menu 1.1.2

No permission to download
Compatible XF 1.x versions
  1. 1.3
  2. 1.4
This small add-on adds a responsive menu in messages for the private controls. With it installed it does save quite a bit of space when viewing in the narrowest responsive views. This is already implemented in our XenBase framework, for the next release, that is used to build all our styles on @ https://pixelexit.com ;)

The menu will show in Medium and Narrow Responsive views, any other views will show the default text links.

The idea derived from this post, but you can no longer see the images I posted in that thread for whatever reason.

Possible Issues: Other add-ons adding links to the private controls my break the menu. Any link added will need to be wrapped in <li> tag

Install: Simply import the add-on xml and it should be working by default.

Enjoy :)

Thanks for this! My big fingers weren't always able to click on the right link when viewing my site from my phone. Now I'll be able to just add the extra links to this drop down menu.
Absolutely essential for responsive sites. Mobile devices average 360 pixels in width and admins having a ton of private controls causes an overflow. This should be core and not a modification. Thanks Steve.
This is superb! Can't wait for the update to your XenBase framework to have this as standard in your themes. The layout is a lot cleaner with this installed, and works really well on the smaller screens.
This really does improve the appearance of the message controls when viewed on smaller screens. It does somewhat annoy me when the controls break over a couple of lines so this really tidies it up nicely. Thanks Steve.
