This add-on was requested and released in the space of 30 minutes!
Basically, the add-on removes all links to the Cookie Help Page (Help page sidebar navigation, Help page index and Help page navbar navigation) and furthermore effectively removes all access to the Cookie Help Page with a 404 error.
This add-on contains code suggested for use by ragtek: http://xenforo.com/community/threads/option-to-remove-cookie-help-page.33974/#post-386565 which has been additionally amended by me to work with friendly or non-friendly URLs.
In addition, my code disables links to the Cookies help page on the help index and returns a 404 error when trying to access the page.
If ever you want/need the cookies page to come back, simply disable or uninstall the add-on.
Installation:
This add-on can be installed using the Add-On Installer.
Alternatively...
- Extract the contents of the Zip file.
- Upload the contents of the upload folder to the root of your XenForo installation.
- Install in the Admin CP using the provided XML file.
