Update highlights​

This version adds (the long-overdue) support for recurring donations. Users can see their recurring donations from a new page in the Accounts interface, and update the payment method or cancel their donation from there.

Please note that you must only offer payment profiles that support recurring donations if you want to avoid confusion for users when they attempt to set up a recurring donation.

Update highlights​

This version focuses on bug fixes, with multiple issues with drive recurrence being fixed, multiple issues with the "Thresholds" feature (and "Thank you" notifications in general) being fixed, alongside a bunch of other fixes.

There are too many to explain all in great detail, but hopefully the drive recurrence feature should be much more reliable, same with the "Thank you!" notifications. Other than that, a few privacy leaks for anonymous donations are worth mentioning, as well as tightening when you're actually allowed to donate to a drive. If a start and end date are configured, you're only able to donate while the drive is open - you can still run an open-ended drive to continuously accept donations.

PS: If you experienced issues with your drives disappearing from the front-end after the v5.0 update, please change your user group permissions again. I changed some internal parts of the permission definitions but it's possible your permission choices were lost in the process.

Fix: Donation thresholds set to apply to all user groups now send their Direct Message, instead of never matching any donor

Fix: Donations can no longer be made to a donation drive before its start date, where they would never count towards the drive's total
Fix: Anonymous donations by members you ignore now show as "Anonymous" instead of "Ignored member" in the "Recent donators" widget and on donation drive pages, and the widget now formats amounts in custom currencies correctly
Fix: Confirming a donation whose drive has been deleted, or when no primary currency exists, no longer causes an error while sending the threshold Direct Message
Fix: The minimum donation amount is now compared against the donation converted to the primary currency, instead of the amount in whichever currency the donor chose
Fix: Changing a donation drive's start date now recalculates the amount it has collected and its last donation, instead of keeping the old totals until the next donation
Fix: Don't allow donating to an ended donation drive

This add-on has been hotfixed to address an issue affecting all front-end pages while this add-on is enabled. This issue was caused by additional security measures introduced in XenForo 2.3.13.

The latest version has been patched, and can be downloaded at no additional cost. If you are running an older version and you are unable to upgrade for whatever reason, please let me know the exact version you are running and I will apply the hotfix accordingly.

This version represents a significant change under-the-hood to better support new features, some of which can be found in this very version!

You (and your members) can now "Watch" a donation drive and receive alerts for new donations.

It is also now possible to react to donations. This can be disabled per donation drive, and can be turned off/controlled globally via user group permissions.

The notification Direct Message should now be more reliably added if the donation is confirmed at a later stage, via the AdminCP.

For developers, it is now easier than ever to extend the functionality of the addon, owing to the refactor and moving to Services for add/edit/confirm actions.

Note: The settings and user group permissions have been renamed internally, and while every effort has been made to carry over your settings, they may have reverted to default on upgrade. Please double-check the XenForo Options and user group permissions for this add-on after upgrade, if you have customised them.
