Here’s an example with PayPal:
Alice subscribed to an upgrade with monthly payments.
For whatever reason, Alice’s bank declines the payment the following month.
XenForo downgrades Alice when payment lapses, as it should.
Alice notices that she no longer has an active upgrade and goes to the...

Added user into group X if they are verified state
If a user has a subscription that has lapsed because payment failed, but Stripe is still attempting to charge them, they have no way to cancel it, since XenForo shows that they don’t have an active upgrade. Stripe will keep attempting to charge them until it gives up, and there’s nothing the...
I've been trying to integrate Stripe into our User Upgrades and all my users get a blank screen when trying to pay via Stripe.
On the Stripe dashboard, I've added the webhook, I've added subscriptions, and I've added the available payment methods.
Nothing I do seems to get this to work. Also...
The payment provider setup page for Stripe says to add a webhook, but doesn't say to add any events. If no events are added then the webhook will never fire which could lead to confusion.
You could argue it's obvious you need to select events (and Stripe lets you add them all in a click) but...
Not sure if this is really a bug, or just an unhandled event.
We recorded some training videos for user upgrades for a site and then actioned a refund for the subscription in the stripe dashboard, this created an error in the payment log. Not sure if this should be handled better or not?

I'm wanting to migrate [time period] recurring user upgrades from PayPal to Stripe, but it appears to be an entirely manual and likely problematic process.
If I create a new (effectively duplicate) user upgrade for Stripe, then I can make this the purchasable one for new upgrades. No problem...
I'm not entirely sure if this is caused by what XF is configured to pass to the Stripe API, or if it's a configuration issue on our end, but we currently have an issue where if a user launches the Stripe modal to subscribe to a user upgrade, but doesn't proceed and doesn't make a payment, a...
As per this thread:
Currently if a user purchases an recurring subscription user upgrade they have the ability to cancel it from the user upgrade page.
I recently updated my forum to 2.0.12 and I'm having a weird issue:
When an upgrade is purchased with Stripe, it is not being marked as purchased for the user. This is only happening with the recurring payment upgrades. The one-time payment upgrade seems to be being marked purchased properly...
I've been redirected to these troubleshooting forums by Chris from xr-dev after experiencing an issue with Stripe payments while using his XR Product Manager addon. My original bug report is below:
I use the Product Manager to sell xenforo themes on my site, offering instant...
I hate to post this as a bug because it is probably my own newbie user error...but I set up my Stripe account, as I have used them before, all the proper keys and verification needs are in place but still when I go to account upgrades, for example, the only option the drop down gives me is...
I have a user upgrade that has options for both PayPal and Stripe payment profiles. Recurring payments is checked on the user upgrade, which has a length of 1 year.
When a user purchases the upgrade with Paypal, they are charged once as expected, an a subscription setup in PayPal.
I've attached an image to illustrate the problem.
The timeline goes like this:
Customer creates subscription
Xenforo creates a "trial period" of 1 minute (I think)
The initial charge goes through before the trial ends
The first invoice for $0.00 as a trial is successful
But the next invoice is...
