We've been using this for a fair amount of time now (>2 months) and my ultimate conclusion is that this is, at best, a buggy Beta product.

* Private group chats do not remember member permissions, if you so much as tab to another conversation you have to re-enter the group password EVERY SINGLE TIME. Which is absurd functionality if you need/want private group chats.
* Private group chats cannot be hidden - in fairness this is pretty clear on their Demo site.
* The push server is an extra $9/month, but it consistently
- Drops messages
- Sends phantom alerts
- Becomes unstable and does not send messages in consecutive order, distorting the order of the conversation

So yeah the push servers, which are marketed on the ArrowChat site as a way to decrease your server load, are not stable enough IME.

Of all the add-ons I've purchased for my XF install this is far and away the least polished. I'm sure its alright if the features you use don't happen to fall into the almost completely broken portion of the add-on, but if those are the functions you need (especially private group chats), don't bother with this add-on.

Sorry to hear about the issues you're having. None of the three issues that you listed are issues that have been reported to us or that we have ever experienced. Regardless, I invite you to submit a bug report so that we can fix any of these issues. We go through the bug reports every patch and fix all issues.

Great addon. I especially like the usergroup settings. Guests can talk to admins only, members can chat with other members exept guests.

Works considerably well, especially compared to alternatives like CometChat. Will adjust to 5 stars once my reported bug is fixed.

Arrowchat is a very nice addon. My members really like it.
Pay attention that support is very poor into arrowchat forums.

Having a horrible horrible time. It's $45 for christ's sake. It doesn't even have specific instructions to Xenforo included. You can see that they're all over the place.

I am very pleased with ArrowChat, especially over the current competitor options. I have been using it for almost two years now and it works wonderfully with my site. This latest update that allows the ability to grant or deny permissions to certain usergroups is awesome. Thank you.

Had this for about a week. So far I am pleased with it. Works well on my forum and have not had any problems yet. Has a lot of nice features and is easy to install.
