Curious: What are the technical differences between something being not a bug and something being as designed? Just asking because it looks like the two can often, if not always, go hand-in-hand, so how do you choose which one to use?

For example, my just closed bug report is something that's as designed, and it's consequently something that's also not a bug.

"As Designed" roughly means that what you reported is correct and it's expected. "Not a Bug" could indicate that what was explained wasn't related to XF (eg, from an add-on) or an incorrect explanation.

There is overlap though so they do go hand-in-hand.

    Ah, gotcha. Thank you, Mike.

"Won't Fix" probably falls into the same category, then, as well.
Is the rebuildMaxExecution default supposed to be 8? The manual says the default is 10...

I'll updated the manual, but 8 is correct.
Happy New Year Mike. Thanks for all the responses to the support tickets over the years -- and for creating the best forum software there is bar none. You are always so kind even when being asked stupid questions. Best wishes, Markku
I missed your birthday yesterday... Well, happy birthday yesterday. I know no-one wants reminding that they're getting older, but still...
Rangers and Flyers are both 7 - 7.. Gonna be a fun game tonight to see who ends up with 8 wins and who gets the wrath of a 8th lose.

I have a very active group on facebook. I want to migrate and organize Facebook treads to a xenforo or other forum website is that possible? Will the Facebook feed become interactive with the forum site? Can you give me an example of someone who has done this successfully.

Is it possible? Do you understand my need?

Sounds like you will need some custom development like Mike said, so this question doesn't really have a short straight forward answer. I think it is possible but you are probably better off posting in the appropriate forum so you can get feedback from 3rd party developers and members who might have done something similar.

I can't say that I fully understand what you're requesting, but any sort of bi-directional Facebook integration is very much something that isn't possible out of the box so it's something that you would need to get a 3rd-party developer to look into.
Hi Mike, I remember that Kier said that at the time you worked for Jelsoft you coded the vBulletin using Notepad... is that true?

Mike, he said, if you want to change External download URLs, there is no option for that. Now I tried it but I can't see any box for RM Item External download URLs change. You may also post update resource it's already okay. However you can't change External download URLs 'cause we can't see any option in edit RM item page.
    Yes this problem.

An external download is no different from an internal download in how the system is structured. As mentioned, any further questions about this should be posted in the appropriate thread.
Not a big deal, just curious. :) Was there a server hiccup? My activity moved backward to 1:46 PM (PT), but my last activity was 18 minutes ago at 2:40 PM as of 2:58 PM (four minutes ago) when I went to browse stuff again.

Short answer is yes. Sort of a mini-DDoS but not an intentional one...

Interesting. Maybe it was loads of forums checking for updates at the same time via an addon... ;)
