XF2 User Interface when posting

So I've decided to post and I click on the open text area.

And the next thing I see is this ..


Why not scroll the screen down further ?
So I see more of the text area.

Any scrolling that happens is just what the device/browser does automatically when focusing a field.

I don't see a particular need to override the behaviour that people would usually expect by default.

That's not an unreasonable expectation, but that's just not how iOS handles scrolling into focus.

I also don't see the enter a message warning if click Go.

If I click done. I see the message.

Making posting easy on smartphones is good for Xenforo

Yes, wanted to post this as well, on Android the same issue applies, also autofill suggestions fill the half of the screen.



On any other text field there's scrolling animation, for example on page number input or in a filters menu.
