You can watch pages and when they are edited ... you are a notification.

Your Wiki Page discussions can take place in any forum you choose.

In the admin panel you select all the potential forums for wiki discussion to appear.

and then when the discussion link is clicked, the forum selection popup appears.

Thanks, I was a bit off in my question. Instead of 'modified' I should of said 'a new page is added'.
Also, I decided to change my 'Watched' status to 'With EMAIL' but cannot uncheck the check box? Can you? (latest XF & Wiki, unmodified XF style.)

After loading 2.3.0.2 on my fresh test site this issue is not reproduced. Now to figure out what addon is causing the issue...

Suggestion:

Enable wikis on Resources.




Example:

We could make a wiki here, in this resource, so Jaxel doesn't have to, to help each other.

I think because @Jaxel mentions this in the overview:

XenCarta has full integration into XenForo's content handler system.

It enables wiki posts to be inserted essentially everywhere in Xenforo including:
thread posts
profile posts
Resource Manager, extra tabs in Resource Manager
direct messages
essentially everywhere I have tried.

Not to mention these addons:
Tickets
Thread Tabs
Collaborative Threads
probably every addon that uses XenForo's content handler system (which could be them all) ?

@Digital Doctor When you toggle it on, without closing the popup can you click the check box and uncheck it? Even on my completely fresh install the check box will not toggle.

No I can't.



It starts empty, but if I click it, the checkmark appears but can't be unchecked. Of course closing it with the [x] and repeating it brings up the blank circle

For some reason when I select Watch the box is checked and I cannot uncheck it.

Some thing is not working correctly for Watching a page.
When I watch a page, no matter if receive an email is selected or not selected the ewr_carta_watch email_subscribe integer is always set to 0 - in the image below two of the three pages are selected but still show 0. @Digital Doctor can you confirm?
@Jaxel what should the email_subscribe integer be to receive an email? No email is being sent but the push notification functions.

Can you comment on THIS POST / QUESTION? Do you have a way of checking if the ewr_carta_watch email_subscribe integer changes depending on the state of what is selected for receiving a watched email? I have tested on three different installations & it does not.

Didn't seem to for me either.

My XenCarta is a bit out of date (not the latest). I purchased version 1 as one of the first purchasers. Im on 2.x

Correct. There is no system to handle email alerts. It's bubble alerts only.
