I'm so glad XF the company is healthy. This is the one critical factor for everything and wish you every success in these challenging times (cost of living, state of the UK, Ukraine war, etc).

And a big thanks for this update. I shall continue to wait (im)patiently, but feel greatly reassured now that all is ok. Looking forward to 2.3.

• There is a significant change coming in 2.3 which I don’t want to give too much away about right now but it’s been in development and has been for the majority of 2022. It will be worth the wait but it isn’t ready to show you yet.

If I have missed anything specific that you feel needs addressing, let me know, but I hope that is it for now.

You don't have to answer but have you considered or are you considering hiring a new developer? Without going into economic considerations, would this be THE solution or now that the Cloud is at cruising speed and Mike's departure has been digested, is it not really necessary? I think Jeremy P has since been recruited but I'm talking about a new developer besides him.

Reading between the lines, it seems to me that there's still quite a lot of work to do, so I'm not going to be surprised if it's at least another six months. Thankfully, I gave up a long time ago on doing frequent checks for some kind of update, because I can only stand so much disappointment

I absolutely don't, and don't think I implied that I do. However, considering that the only thing we heard in 2022 is that it would be sometime in 2022, I can understand how it might sound to some like history might be repeating itself. But just to avoid any misunderstanding: I personally do believe that it will be sometime in 2023.

I would say whatever happened last year, it may happen this year too. I don’t see any point to argue here, @Chris D already told us that XF2.3 will be out this year “hopefully “ , but personally I won’t purchase a new license for my new project from XF. But I will hold my other licenses, to see what is coming here, and if the wait was worth it.
