I'm not even going to do so then. The lack of communication has strayed into disrespect at this point and I'm losing interest fast.
I would completely agree with this. At this point they are just being blatantly disrespectful.
At this point its safe to say we've been fed alot of false information (lies).
First, before 2.0 was even a reality we were promised development would pickup up after the rewrite of 2.0. We were all patient with the rewrite and supported the company.
The most recent one was this:
2.3 has been in active development for quite some time and we expect to start running HYS threads in the coming weeks.
Not to mention XenForo trying to sweep it under the rug that a KEY piece of the company
@Mike departed. No respect at all to make their customers aware that a corner stone of the company had moved on...
Considering some of these misleading statements are coming from key players at XenForo is why some customers are upset and asking for answers.
Then we have instances where
@Kier says something like this "Of course we’d prefer that people renew annually, it certainly helps us out, but if you don’t, that’s your prerogative."
2.) Someone will post "where's 2.4" the day 2.3 is released as a joke but eventually turns semi-serious. :censored: :X3: - Guilty m'lord

If you ask me thats like asking for handouts/donations. This is like one of your employees asking you to keep them on payrole long after they've left the company- wouldnt you ask "What am i paying you for?" You're a business, what are you providing the customers to incentivise the annual renewal (ticket support i believe but community support is still available)?
Also, with all due respect to
@Brogan (in my eyes he truly needs a raise hes been the face of XF and the support power house for YEARS) but jabs and comments like this arent very professional and dont help the situation.
You have customers on 19 pages of the thread having serious discussions and asking serious questions to guage which direction their hobby/business should take and instead of answering any of the questions we get a "sarcastic" post like this.
I have refrained from really expressing my self in this regard because of the hostile environment one encounters anytime they question anything XF wise (a lot of people have expressed this feeling/opinion yet some just overlook it).
On a side note when XF 2.0 was still in the works I had my fingers crossed that XF would team up with
@Mike C and his amazing team or
@Pixel Exit to knock the UI/UIX out of the park. Unfortunantly, this never happened. At times you have to step back and say "Hey im a developer - let me let the pros handle the design and other aspects".
Im not trying to knock the XF 2.0 design but i know that the
@ThemeHouse team or
@Pixel Exit would have knocked this out of the park (I believe Invision Community brought Ehren on board - he's great at what he does).
