XF 1.2 Xenforo with MySQLnd instead of MySQLi ?

I am on PHP version 5.4.14 and have the MySQLi drivers. I would like to use MySQLnd for another site on the server and would need to recompile the php version with the new drivers.

Would xenForo work just as fine with MySQLnd and is there anything I would need to configure site wise to make it work? Any other differences between using the for for the forums?

    Thanks!

MySQLnd is a drop in replacement for ext/mysql and ext/mysqli, so it's fine - I think we're using it here. You do actually get some additional features, though XF doesn't use them.
