XenForo Service Prices?

I thought I had seen it somewhere else.
Nice looking site, but I'm still not a fan of iframes :(

Not at all.. $70/hr is about half the industrial standard for freelance programers..

I know, I'm only rubbing you up for a laugh. Well, I think I'll be offering my own XenForo install services from my forum soon, I might as well jump on the same bandwagon. After all, I do have 15+ yrs experience under my belt covering every forum and blog platform you can mention.

I've moved this to off topic as it is just a discussion/feedback thread at the moment.

Once you've decided on the prices and are ready to start offering services, feel free to post a new thread in the third party services forum.

Hitting "go" and waiting 5 hours while the import happens isn't really the same ;-)
I never said it was either..

Feel free to send me a ticket on xfservices.com if you like. My prices are per job and are listed on the site, Floris has pretty much covered the rest (Thanks, Floris!)

iframes? where?
maybe this isn't a frame, but it scrolls side to side and the URL doesn't change when clicking on the services.

Code:
$("#loginOverlay").fancybox({
                'width' : '65%',
                'height' : '60%',
                'autoScale' : false,
                'transitionIn' : 'elastic',
                'transitionOut' : 'elastic',
                'type' : 'iframe,

I don't care for the url not changing and the scrolling side to side, sorry if I was incorrect.

Hmmm, if it was an iframe. I would have expected to see this below.

<iframe></iframe>

But what ever it is, ff0000 is red colour

-XenForo installation - $30
-conversions to XenForo - $50+
-Merging XenForo into XenForo - $50
-Merging other software into XenForo - $50
-Upgrading XenForo - $10
-Addon installation - $10
-Style installation - $10

It's jquery and the code posted isn't even in use in the design anymore. :)
I may make it change the URL when selecting a service. Though in each service description there is a permalink to that service page. ;)

Just open "View Page Source" then just Ctrl F and type iframe and you will see it. It's not used as <iframe> but one is used it seems.

Why is it in the page source then :s

Anyway, thank you for all the information everyone.
A simple artefact is all. :)

You used to click the log in button and it popped up (with Ajax) a login form. I've since changed that to a simple button to a new page but didn't remove the js code at the time. :)

I did, but couldn't find any. Perhaps Mikey already removed it when I checked of course. hehe.

Hi all,

I have a lot of free time on my hands and decided to open a XenForo service website for a little extra cash.

But before I get things going though I want some XenForo community feedback on what you feel are some fare prices on the following services:

-XenForo installation
-conversions to XenForo
-Merging XenForo into XenForo
-Merging other software into XenForo
-Upgrading XenForo
-Addon installation
-Style installation

So let me know the kind of prices you would be happy paying for such services. I'm not greedy :)

Is this still open?

I've done some work for other xenforo owners for free but every once in awhile they want to donate. I tell them that I don't do this professionally, I just like to help but they insist. I don't want to charge them so I just ask them to go ahead and donate what you feel is comfortable. Nice to see ya'll listed prices in the thread.

I've helped 1 person. Did it for free.

Of course all I did was the install and convert them over from vBulletin 3 to XenForo. Took about 45 minutes cause their server was a little slow with vBulletin still running.

Once they were completely happy that XenForo was working to their liking... They backed up the old database one last time and deleted everything about vBulletin off their server.

Was a large noticeable boost for them.

I have both vb4 and xenforo running on my host but no one uses my vb4 site so I don't think it makes a huge difference. It probably only makes a huge difference if they have a huge forum.
