Hello. Can someone explain to me what goto is and is it worth adding to robots.txt?

I noticed the same route yesterday, which is used in post quotes - that I have no idea why since the generic index.php/posts/ID/ URL route will work better.

My actual question was why it was disallowed in the robots.txt while it already ends up at the canonical URL.

I am planning to remove that line from my robots.txt since I'd like to clear my Search Console errors.

I am planning to remove that line from my robots.txt since I'd like to clear my Search Console errors.

I did this a few months ago and it just moved the goto links from "blocked by robots.txt" to "redirects". So I don't think it does anything useful. Once Google finishes crawling my goto links I'm going to put it back in robots.txt. Same thing with the post quote URLs.

btw, if you block attachments folder does that block Google from indexing image attachments?
