XF 2.2 googe claims ads.txt missing on Xenforo Cloud forum

My forum is running on xenforo cloud. I've loaded all the adsense code in headers and body, etc. I'm using the stock robots.txt file in XenForo and I've added my ads.txt file to xenforo custom ads.txt in the basic options. The URL for both work as expected when run from the browser. WWW redirects properly to the domain and running just domain finds both files properly. With all this, google says no ads.txt file is found.

any ideas?

Have you opened a ticket with XF? That would be the best thing IMO.

If you have any firewall or you are using cloudflare, add a firewall rules to bypass the security for ads.txt file. It will get resolved
