oh no, they missed a new HYS today on June 15 😄

Probably they change the HYS release cycle to Tuesday and Thursday from now. At least 2 more HYS will be released. And the next HYS will be probably the most exciting one.

The funny thing is, that there is SO much that folks can be doing with their existing XF 2.1 (or 1.x) setups, while 2.2 is being finalised. I guess it's a great sign (to the XF principals) that people are so breathless with anticipation about 2.2, but man, there's so much stuff to focus on that is of more value than hyperventilating about 2.2 at this point.

For me, like an Ubuntu 18.04 to 20.04 upgrade, MySQL 5.7 to 8.0 upgrade, etc.......and doing it while minimising/eliminating downtime for my members.

Yeah, no HYS today :(. Jinxed it probably. The day is not over but usually by now they release the new HYS, not today. Ah, well, the waiting kills me :D.

I'm looking forward to see whether HYS for 2.2 will have any update for the portal/homepage/etc. I believe at some point, XF would address this need for a more unified look across the platform.
Here is hoping.

Hmm, let's update the table with the time of the day then (UTC+0 / London Time).
So, yeah, usually by now the HYS is there (except for last Monday as we all know :D).
Right now it is 16:17 in London.
Edit: 16:56 it is today.

Since the XF team is pretty much as predictable as an atomic clock with these HYS posts, have you done a mean analysis to determine the average time between the last HYS posted, and the date/time of the actual GA release of the software, for 2.0 and 2.1?

That would provide a very accurate predictor of the GA date for 2.2.

XenForo 2.1 HYS threads were posted between October and November 2018: https://xenforo.com/community/forums/have-you-seen/?prefix_id=46
XenForo 2.1 itself was released in January 2019: https://xenforo.com/community/threads/xenforo-2-1-0-add-ons-released.160095/

So do the math :) I guess xenforo.com will be upgraded first so we can test out the new features.

Hmm, "only" a developer related HYS today, but perhaps the good news is that they didn't say it is the last HYS. So, at least one more is awaiting us?
