Xen Product Manager [Deleted]

Suggestion: Add support for a requirement that you are in such group. For example, a XenForo Customer group which means you've verified your XenForo license, so you can download the free XenForo add-ons.

You can setup a group with a coupon and assign that coupon to the products you want to be free.

I do this for the Admin Center add-on we have. Current customers get the add-on free.

Looks unprofessional to set an add-on to something insanely high (so nobody buys it) and then have a free coupon for users with valid XF licenses, plus misleading.

What you are wanting really would be best handled by categories imo.

Not sure what your final thought is with this but why set guest/registered permission to View Products but can't Purchase then set an XF Verified Group to be able to Purchase products?

Suggestions:
  • Allow purchase of options after the initial purchase
  • Automatically check "license url" for the presense of a XenForo page (with moderation before download, if not)
  • Add VAT handling.
  • Add Stripe
:)

Hi Chris,

Clients site and two issues, I uploaded the styles folder to the right location but not sure these count for that and cannot see where to edit the colour in style properties.

Price - This does not seem to be visible but the rest of my style is.
Admin - Until hovered you cannot see the admin parts, the one above what is hovered for example is too dark like the text.

Any help is appreciated (customers site), thanks.

Heh, just realised no one has permission to add additional users...

I've just changed that ;)

When viewing a license it should be just below the download button:

All known bugs for Xen Product Manager have now been fixed and will be released later today as version 1.2.3.

It was actually one year ago this week that I officially launched Xen Product Manager. I don't feel like the progress made has been substantial and for that I apologise.

I am committed to keeping it up to date, and stable, which I feel for the most part it has been. Some people's licenses have actually expired, already, and I don't think it's right to make people pay the £20 GBP renewal fee (plus £5 for branding free customers) to secure an update that arguably could have been released some time ago.

So, with that in mind, by way of an apology, any one with an expired now has had an additional few weeks added on to ensure they can download the new version being released today. Further to this, to apologise for the general sluggishness when it comes to updates and new features, I have also created a special coupon code:

6MONTHSFREE

This coupon code will allow you to renew Xen Product Manager for an additional 12 months for the price of 6 months, giving you 6 months of renewal for free. It is only valid between now and 31st December 2015 and will only apply to users who are eligible to renew their licenses.

I hope that helps, and I want to thank everyone for their patience.

Finally, I am planning some new features so I hope we can see them soon (but sadly no immediate ETA yet).

We forgive you @Chris D :p

Thanks for the update even though we've been running pretty flawless since release ;)

Yeah, most of the bugs were pretty minor. I just don't like things lingering for that long. And admittedly I had hoped to see a 1.3 or 1.4 out by now so hopefully the free 6 months renewal will allow people to benefit from that.

What about people that have an existing license that want to renew early :)
