XF 1.4 Wrong password with subdomain

A member of my forum has a problem, he can change his password with the normal url, but when it passes through its subdomain, it indicates it a wrong password.

Normal url -> http://www.cfdt74.fr/sdis2015 -> assword OK
Sudomain -> http://caserne.cfdt74.fr/ -> Wrong password

That shouldn't happen assuming both URLs point to the same installation of XF. Either the password is being mistyped or the two URLs are different forums. I suggest you ask him for his password so you can try to reproduce the problem. Or you can reset his password through the Admin CP.

It is a good idea to enforce just one URL for your forum.

I confirm after test, the problem is present.

Only other possibility is if you have different PHP configurations between them, notably one running PHP 5.2 and the other running a later version. You need to run using PHP 5.3+ if you ran PHP 5.3 in the past.

He updated to php5.4 and it now works
