The original code was free open source, so even if it abandoned... Someone can easily take over this concept.

And if that statement is lie?

The code is indeed originally by, Heise Online, who if you visit their site, released it completely free in the clear as open source.

So I would assume there is nothing stopping someone from developing their own version of this add-on, using the original open source code (which the developer here does not own)... ie... Making an alternative to this one.

Is this functioning? What add-ons does it conflict with? Anyone notice a measurable page loading time decrease?

This add-on works without problems with a default XenForo 1.1 and 1.2 installation. However we've heard of (non-critical) problems with some add-ons using similar JS functions for URL sharing.

This add-on will be upgraded for use with XF 1.3 and we'll also try to work around known problems with other add-ons with the new release.
