Who is waiting for XF 2.3.1?

Not me, in any case I'm not impatient like for 2.3.1/2, the main bugs are resolved, the following updates will be lighter I think with minor bug resolutions... Now it's XF 3 which is the goal! For Christmas?

Thanks for the heads up @Chris D just upgraded to 2.3.2 with no issues.

Hope nobody's pressuring you to get these releases out. Take your time. Don't rush.

Bit optimistic I think. :D but let’s hope! 🥳

Do you guys trust the zip archive way of upgrading, I still upgrade manually by uploading all my files per folder.

Just in case the archive way misses any file rewrites or deletions.

The system is very much designed to ensure that doesn’t happen. And that’s also what the file health check is for. We know what files are supposed to be there so nothing gets missed. It’s a very robust way of updating and I highly recommend it versus uploading. Which traditionally has a much greater margin of error because sometimes FTP transfers can fail or get corrupted.

Thank you, and if I’ve customised the default template/style, mostly the Page_container would I need to do anything to update it to the 2.3.2 update without losing my customisation?

Going to give 2.3.2 a whirl in my dev, maybe this coming weekend. See which add-ons still need updates and decide if I can live without them until those updates come. If I can get things into a state I am happy with, then maybe a live upgrade the next weekend.

The PAGE_CONTAINER template will be marked as outdated but you will be able to manage softly any customization with the merge system.

I wanted to upgrade, but I've lost the password to my admin account and now can't log in. Thankfully, it's my test forum on localhost. 😛
