Galleria has been "being worked on" for 20+ months.
There is zero proof at all it is still being worked on.
Hardly is wondering if the Galleria project is still on track "ridiculous".

There was a semi-working version of Galleria last summer; it was scrapped due to the discussion of creating XenFluence, which would require a rewrite as we wanted all the add-ons to have a common feel to them. Jeremy was busy with work, and there were things that needed to be done before the rewrite could begin.

If you cannot take the word of the people developing it, and people involved, its not an addon you need. If you cannot trust people you're buying from you shouldn't buy. It's as simple as that, but you'll probably use try to twist it into something negative like you always tend to do.

He didn't ask if it was on track, he called it vaporware. Theres a huge difference, especially when the reasons for the delay have been posted time and time again.
 
I figured I'd reply to this topic as well. I've been with xenForo since the beginning and have had nothing but the greatest desire to see it succeed. I have not purchased a license yet because I am not sure if this software has a future or not. There has been no recent activity from the xenForo development team. No updates from Kier or anything. So I have not invested too much into this software yet.

I am checking this forum daily in hopes of an update but have not yet seen one. I will purchase xenForo and become an active developer if and when this software takes off. At the moment it feels like it's dying. =(

What I want... what I want most of all... is for Kier to speak with us. To inform us about whats going on with xenForo. Just to let us know whats going on.
 
There are two meanings for the term vaporware. The first definition which I was referring to is not that bad. That's when it's announced but never released or officially cancelled.

Duke Nukem Forever and the Phantom are examples of what I meant. Eventually Duke Nukem released and was no longer considered vaporware.

Since every post I make on here gets deleted I will now be rethinking my position.
At this time, I am very close to deleting my add-ons and moving on.

That's no reason to leave. You are overreacting to nothing. You kept trying to resurrect a locked thread which defeats the purpose of the lock. I clearly communicated this to you via PM. There is no problem. Don't worry.

I was being genuine. There is no problem. You made inappropriate posts and as a moderator it is my job to keep things clean. Though in your case you have persisted with challenging my moderation through additional postings, so I obviously have to delete those posts too. You should have known the response, but I have taken time to explain that to you just to be clear. In addition, I asked you nicely via PM to stop questioning my moderation in the public forum. PMs are the appropriate place for that. There was no threat, no problem. I was just asking you nicely as an equal.

Still there is no problem. I understand you are mad at me so I am taking time again to explain myself and to try to diffuse the situation.
 
Guys, I need to tell you something about me. And I am being totally serious. I make a really poor enemy. People who try to cast me in that role always walk away frustrated. I can't help but be nice, helpful, empathetic, understanding, etc. I am an incredibly frustrating person to fight with because I don't fight.

If you need an enemy then I recommend Slavik. He has much more fight in him than I do.

The purpose is to save you the frustration of trying to fight with me. It's obvious you are angry and I am just being sensitive to that.
 
I am surprised no one really has suggested this but If the community really wants to know what happened to KAM. Why doesn't everyone pool some money together and hire a Private Investigator to see just what happened to KAM........:whistle:
 
Just personal stuff AFAIK, which really isn't surprising considering the circumstances. How well would you fare running a startup company and fighting a lawsuit for nearly 2 years while at the same time supporting a family? ;)

I personally don't ask for details. I just want to see XenForo past this lawsuit and to that end I am doing my part. Until the lawsuit is past everyone needs to have some empathy for KAM in their current situation.
