Won't be too much trouble taking it in for replacement at some point -- need to any way seeing as I dropped it and shattered the screen last week :( I never did buy one of those cases...

On the 6+ when I am on speaker phone it randomly cuts in and out between speaker and earpiece and I can see the lit up speaker button flashing dumb fast. My camera works just fine...but I am getting different problems other than what I have heard about.

I own two 6 plus and they both are affected ... Bought on two continents over a year lifespan. Bad coincidence :)

@Chris the repair is quite cheap. After my first screen repair i bought the official apple leather case its awesome. My phone dropped a lot with that case and it's not damaged at all.

For cases, I purchased a LifeProof FRE' for my wife's use (she's got MS and sometimes gets a case of the dropsies - it's already saved it twice).
For me, I use a Spigen Neo Hybrid Metal (like the looks and I've only dropped 1 phone in over 8 years - as I now jinx myself).

Luckily the wife's 6+ is not under the recall... she'd die having to use a smaller phone for any length of time now.

How much was a screen repair?

My serial number is "eligible for a free repair" but I don't see any problem with my camera, am I missing something?

Same here. It says, 'The program covers affected iPhone 6 Plus iSight cameras for 3 years after the first retail sale of the unit.' So I hope the offer will stand just in case there's a problem. I just hope it doesn't affect the phone's resale value too much.

Not sure really but I'm going to assume it is a continuous type thing if there is no deadline specified when registering for the replacement. I'm sure they don't want another lawsuit, although a lawsuit may be cheaper in the long run.

Faulty Moisture Sensor Lawsuit Settlement Worth Up to $300 per iPhone - The Mac Observer

I'd imagine it says all serials in the timeframe are eligible but only some have the defect. Any way to know exactly if you have the defect? I wouldn't notice the difference if it hit me in the face.

6 (4.7 inches)
More comfortable in the hand. I guess.
Not always.. the 6 is a little easier to carry than the 6 Plus is from what I have found. Put that 6 Plus in the hip pocket some folks have a tendency to do and you hear glass tinkling.

A little more easier to carry and a little more cheap :coffee:
I think I'll get an 6 (4.7 inches).
Anyway my 4S is still working absolutely perfect.
Looks like I'll have to wait the iphone 7 or 8 :D

Gotta say, the leather case is great - but don't buy it in red! I bought one on launch day for my iPhone 6 Plus, and although the phone is well protected, the case looks absolutely ruined. The dye is coming off anywhere it's seen friction, the colour has faded, and there are lots of scratches and marks all over it. It's a shame, too, as it was really quite lovely when I bought it. I know it's made clear that the leather will "break in" as it's used, but I didn't think it'd be quite that bad...

So, this is for the people that are going to get the next gen iPhone 6, which one will you buy?

I personally I am learning towards the iPhone 6 64GB version.
That one if within my budget atm.
I would have taken the iPhone 6 Plus if there was a 32GB version...since 16GB is just not enough for me.
The big one with plenty of storage, however I dont think I can afford it any time soon ....

Go big or don't go!
I got the 128GB iPhone 6 and for my wife the 128GB iPhone 6 Plus. I learned a long time ago better to have to much storage than not enough. She hasn't taken a picture she hates yet (must not, as they are ALL still on her phone - even the poorly framed ones or the ones with her fingers in the frame).

I had both the 6 and 6 plus. Wasn't crazy about either. Both are too big, IMO, for carrying the way I like to carry phones (without noticing them, like my old Blackberry curve). I kept the 6 plus, ultimately, because it's a better travel phone for an older guy that likes larger fonts. In general, though, I'm completely underwhelmed by Apple phones. There are so many ways that I still consider the Blackberry superior--email, notifications, portability, durability, interface, keyboard. But it's an all-but-dead technology, alas. Still, I almost hate the iphone. I curse it daily and think less of myself for obtaining the device that the herd genuflects to.

So you complain that both the iPhone 6 and 6 plus are too big, and then tells us you are keeping the 6 plus. Talk about undermining your own arguments.
