Hello, this only happens if a user has uploaded their profile photo. if they do not upload a photo you can not click on it. but if you do have a profile photo uploaded you will get transferred to a single page of just the photo and also it happens while using mobile devices and that seems pretty aggravating as well.

here is an example
go this page and click on the profile pic...
it will take you to this link below in the same window, then you have to click the back button to get back to where you were..

- if you click on a users profile photo it should just refresh the profile page and not send you to a complete photo page.

-- its only a profile pic not a photo that you might want to display in large format or full screen
-- if a user wants to show off there profile photo they can upload it as a photo

Please - how can we eliminate this action It really is aggravating to have to click back to get to the forum / page you were at

thanks
Spiro

This was intentional to enable users to see a full size version of a profile picture if they wanted to. We do not consider it to be a bug or undesirable but you may be able to change the behaviour through template edits.

Can you make it an option in ACP ? On or off and or is there a way to set it to open in a pop up window. Like you have for your media add on. ? This way they do not have to click back button
