Fixed When adding similes in the first line of the post, it jumped to the end of message

To reproduce:

The below smiley was meant to be inserted on this line, but it jumped to the end of the message.

Type a line of text. Place the cursor at the beginning of the line of text and then open the smiley menu (or the gif menu), then select a smiley. The cursor jumps to the end of the line of text then the smiley is inserted (the cursor jumps to the end even if you just close the menu without selecting a smiley).

Note that this isn't a smilie issue, the cursor jumps to the end of the message whenever the smilie menu or the gif menu is opened (no selection is required to reproduce the bug).

Chrome Stable Latest on Windows 10. I can replicate the same behavior. If I try to insert a smiley in the middle of para, it is added to the end.

This is still happening. Not sure why it is on awaiting feedback Also just confirmed in Firefox so this is definitely not a Chrome quirkiness like the other bug where keyboard is hiding on pressing enter key!
