Just got done upgrading pixelExit over the weekend and whipped this out for a custom page:

• It's currently set for our home page using the index route option
• Simple Slider
• Widget Framework to pull our news posts

I cheated in a sense... the home page is using a child style of our main site. The page node forces that child style to be displayed.

I went ahead and modified page_container to our liking, moved a template hook around inside page_container and did a manual position in the widget framework.

So... it has the main navigation up top, any changes we do on our main style will trickle down to the home page. (navigation changes/visitor links/footer ect)
