XF 2.3 What does exaclty "Stay logged in" checkbox do?

Hello,

My steps:
1. Go to https://xenforo.com/community/login/
2. Input creds
3. Uncheck "Stay logged in" checkbox.
4. Submit and enter the forum.
5. Close the tab, close the browser.

Browser is not in oncognito mode.

6. Open browser
7. Go to https://xenforo.com/community/login/
8 I'm already logged in.

I thought that unchecked "Stay logged in" will cause session disconnect when I close the browser tab.

Did you just closed tab, or did you closed browser too?
