I was talking about dictation in general in response to @dvduval's experience with Google
I do think Windows 10 is pretty good these days, and the telemetry does bother me because I feel they're not that transparent and I don't truly know what they're monitoring. But as an OS for someone who feels they don't care or can't have any input over it, it's a pretty decent OS and is really giving MacOS a run for its money on features and usability these days.
I'm definitely not completly over the privacy issues with Windows...but I am now slightly apathetic because it feels like everyone is recording data on us in some format or another. It's tough constantly trying to figure out which companies we should or shouldn't care about in this respect.
For me there is that balance between security and privacy, and I probably prefer better security before better privacy but of course both are important. For that reason I'm going to install internet explorer on my new Chromebook. Haha just kidding
Well, I spend half my time using Chinese on the internet, and pretty much all the Chinese websites and apps are going to have some slice of my privacy. I guess it could be said that I spread things around a bit so it's a little hard to decipher my whole story. That's about the best I can do.
