Frankly, I think this is a good idea.

I am of the opinion that irresponsible conduct causing detriment, whether intentional or not, but especially where accountability thereof is actively evaded, that by casting the searing light of public awareness upon the perpetrator &/or their actions can be a very potent means for motivating expedient rectification, or at the least it can variably inhibit the perpetrator's ability to reoffend simply due to being dragged out of the shadows.

While this practice may also serve to discourage similar conduct by others.

However that said, it should be mentioned that some may potentially perceive this as a 'badge of honour' too.
(In very specific scenarios, I certainly would, lol.)
