Instead there is a drop down: I want to change that dropdown to the more common secondary navigation bar. Where is this set?

D djbaxter in memoriam 1947-2022 Oct 3, 2019 #4 Yes exactly. I had to reinstall the Xenforo default style. I could then see that it wasn't disabled in the default style and exploring the custom style led me to that setting. Pretty obvious once I finally found it. Upvote 0 Downvote
