Not a bug View thread content permission not working correctly

When a user does not have the 'View thread content' permission granted, they can't see threads at all inside a forum - they can see the thread in the recent post column on the forum list.

I can't reproduce what you're reporting. After "never'ing" the permission, when viewing a particular forum, I see the threads listed. Clicking into one gives me an error.

Note that we don't display these threads in any widgets or under "new posts". This is intentional and the same in XF1.

Yeah, I just re-checked and it was an issue with one of my add-ons, sorry.
