I'm a bit on a retro trip at the moment.

• Deus-Ex (one of the best games ever made)
• System shock 2 (dito) which was re-released on gog with an updated engine a while ago. With some mods, it can even look halfway decent on a modern system. But visuals are not everything - atmosphere-wise, this is still one of the best games ever and the original developers achieved this with the limited technology they had about 13 years ago.
• F.E.A.R. - great shooter.

Anno 2070

You should try out Anno 1404: Dawn of Discovery... its FAR better than Anno 2070; enough that it doesn't have that terrible underwater mechanic.

Yes of course I do also play Anno 1404. It's my favorite Anno since 1602. But right now I do a Let's play with a friend of mine who has only Anno 2070
