please take a closer look at my example:If the quoted post has been imported, it should update the link, otherwise it cant - as it wont know the new post number.
That's the original quote structure from vB, so the old post id is 53161, if that post have been imported then the quote structure will be changed to match xF's quote style: "blackcatstudio, post: x" (where x is the new post id)blackcatstudio;53161
but all the posts were imported and all quotations look like that on my forumThe remapping of quoted posts doesn't work if it cant find the post the quote is referring to, that means it will just leave the quote unchanged.

I dont quite follow you here, and not sure what the screenshots are supposed to be showing me !Social data goes a bit wonky... in that it brings it in, but then creates several empty pages:
That must be something to do with the XF importer in general, nothing in the VB4 file could do that - How may cms categories do you have ? If its a lot then maybe something is timing out while it creates them.Failed to import CMS data. It created the forum, but imported nothing and when it presented the error message, below, you will notice it went from the ACP to the frontend. Not sure that is right...
Not at the moment, but maybe at some point. I only have so much free timeI'll try it and will tell you! thanks Paul M !!!. It would be possible to import user albums to a thread with attachments ?
I really want to get rid of vB4.
The screenshots for the social groups is the new thread created in the xf forum from the existing social group discussion. You will see page one, it is correct, being it imported the discussion posts, created the thread... but then you can see on the second image the empty pages it has created in the new thread.I dont quite follow you here, and not sure what the screenshots are supposed to be showing me !
I have zero categories, 31 main sections, and less than 10 sub-sections. So under 50 sections total. There are 210 articles. That must be something to do with the XF importer in general, nothing in the VB4 file could do that - How may cms categories do you have ? Ah, a bit of a terminoligy issue, I mean sections. The latest uploaded version will refresh the screen before processing the sections - not sure if that will help stop any timeout.I have zero categories, 31 main sections, and less than 10 sub-sections.
