Haha, but there has GOT to be a way to change that. At least say "vBulletin". Ah well, so much humor in one day. For all the issues people claim with XenForo, I have to say I'm relatively happy with my software choice. It is a Magento feature![]()

What if you need something more "private" because the details involve security or could be compromising?!

lmao!! That's why I said over and over in other thread posts about paying for support for ANY software... Like, "it's not YOUR fault our code is crappy and not properly handled within the year, but YOU gotta pay for it... Pay up sucker!" Updates/Support should be a given- regardless.
Edit: Actually, the one on one support though, could be paid for, but not that dang much. Geesh
I'm not stupid enough to purchase that excuse for forum software....then you will have to pay. You know it now. If you buy a Copy of vb5 its your own fault.
I've seen a couple of reports over there of people buying the upgrade without even seeing the beta...![]()

Edit: According to vb's Zachery:
"Some users have been reporting caching issues, we've passed these onto the server guys to look into it. Sorry about that."

So, the "upgrade" has to be installed somewhere different to your vB4 install.
Your vB4 add-ons won't work with vB5.
Your styles won't work with vB5.
You can't use your paid subscriptions - they're not supported in vB5 at this time.
The CMS/Article System is not support in vB5.
The infraction system is not supported in vB5.
The FAQ System is not supported in vB5.
There is no member's list in vB5.
A number of features in the Admin CP no longer work.
You cannot turn off Blogs, Social Groups, Albums (but can "hide" them with permissions!).
You cannot remove the Activity Stream (but can hide it!).
If you store your attachments and avatars in the file system, you should make sure to back them up. Depending on where you install vBulletin 5 and how you have your path specified in the database, you may need to move these files to a new location for them to work properly.
I'm thinking this has been pushed out the door kicking and screaming and leaving fingernail marks in the door frame!!!

Zachery;2335707 said:Not to trivialize what you feel, but wasn't the 130 dollar upgrade discount already insanely steep?
vBulletin 4 pre-order customers already got the best possible deal. I don't really agree with what you have to say on that.
