Database issues from what I got.

edit: seems to be back online now .... To answer your question... I would say so.
It's still 'Database Error' for me. The only logical reason is that vB5 SEO is SO GREAT that it attracted all the traffic from the world :D :D
 
I spoke to soon. Offline again.

I'm guessing they're using to much resources with vBulletin 5

(I do not put it past them in trying to claim it though)
 
I still find it comical that they boast rather heavily about both VB4 and VB5 being the "Most powerful" community software..
Most powerful in the sense of epic fails, sure. :p

And I had to laugh at Lawrence Cole's post in the vb announcement forum:

I mean, it's horrible, it's like they've tried to reinvent the forum software and merge it with their own social networking creation, yuck.
They tried to reinvent the CMS with their crappy Suite product and look how that turned out? Looks like the same people who did the CMS, are now trying it with the forum.
Oh well, hehe
 
Hope there will be a wave of new customers/devs that come here and see why xenforo is that good.

If development of Xenforo was ongoing and not stalled like it is now (I DO understand why), then I would consider XF as well, but with the whole litigation thing, it's just too uncertain

Perhaps that's another reason they filed it, to create uncertainty with potential buyers of XF.
 
There certainly doesn't seem to be much "connect" between the development and marketing teams.
