XF 2.2 comes with a totally different Froala version, so the current Smileys Bar version does work.
You'll have to wait for the upcoming version on which he's currently working

I think he's saying on your website you have 2.1.1 but here on xenforo.com the version number is still 2.1.0

When toggle BB code, the BB code kept multiplying always when you had text with different color. So this was fixed.

Smileys Bar for xF 2.2 is done but not yet officially released. It is basically a new add-on. It had to be built again. A lot of time and effort had to go into this one. Currently it is installed on my website for testing, you can check it out there, for now. If you want to test it also on your website, before it is officially released, just please check if you have a valid license and contact me, will send it to you, probably already tomorrow.

Smileys Bar version for XF 2.1 is being retired. From now and on only the version for XF 2.2 will be supported. This is the new design for XF 2.2:

Honestly, this is not a very good way for users to get their paid addons. They basically have to wait for you to be active to get a product they paid for.
