User Upgrades by Waindigo [Deleted]

Does this only allow the free trial once or can they use it after the trial?

Gets the free trial, expires then they get a re-trial and then another re-trial. Or gets free trial, pays for it, then when it expires gets another trial free, then pays again.

Or is it limited once per user?

At the moment it allows trials to be cancelled and then re-started.

Just a question. This addon has a system to alert the users that their upgrade is expiring in xx days or something like that so that the users can pay for the new upgrade period? My upgrades are yearly so that they've to be renewed after 12 months.

Correct, the check for when to send the alert is based on the end date for the purchased upgrade.

@Waindigo We currently have a lot of current subscribers within the Xenforo upgrade system, will this transfer everyone over to this new user upgrade system?

If not, is it possible we can make it happen?

Don't want to mess anything up if I install this and my previous premium members, we have a lot of subscribers...

All previous user upgrades should carry on as normal. This add-on extends the current system rather than replacing it.

Obviously you should always take the usual precautions and take backups etc.

Great work @Waindigo. I'm currently using amember to handle paid memberships. The main thing that is holding me back from using XenForo's native upgrade system is the lack of coupons. Is this functionality you are considering adding in the future? It would be a great way for forum owners to promote their business using discounts and competitions etc.

Think this might be a xenforo bug, but I'll take a look on Monday.
this used to work fine for me but even with add ones disabled doesn't work at all even on default theme could it be the mod_cloudflare for Apache? all it does is this:
Description
Because CloudFlare acts as a proxy, you will notice changes to the way that your website visitors' IP addresses are displayed both in your server logs and web applications - notably that all access appears to be coming from CloudFlare IP addresses. You can read more about the reasons for this in our knowledge base article.

You can change this behavior and log & display the actual visitor IP addresses by using mod_cloudflare.
