XF 1.5 User option to auto-renew account upgrades

Is there any way for the user to decide whether or not their account upgrades automatically renew, rather than it being an on/off setting for each single upgrade? Is there an add-on that offers this functionality?

The auto renew is a function of the payment profile set up in PayPal when purchasing the upgrade.

The member would need to cancel it in PayPal.

Yes, but I mean is there a way for the user to enable auto-renew on upgrades where auto-renew is not enabled on the upgrade by default in the AdminCP?

There's no way to do that and no add on that I'm aware of.

The most straightforward approach would be to create 2 versions of the upgrade, one recurring and one not.

Erk. We already have like 6 different versions of the upgrade.
