XF 2.1 user can't upload mp4 Videos

hey, user can't upload mp4 Videos. its a real mp4 file and it has 5 MB (minimum update is 10 MB, mp4 is allowed).

What about all other users, can they do it? what about you? It could be a server issue such as modsec. We had an issue something like that where we couldn't attach anything until a rule got fixed.

I can't upload it, too. It is a mp4 file with 5 MB.

I tried to upload another mp4 file - this works.

What I can do?

Forgotten to say. It uploads to 100% - than comes this error: The uploaded file was not a video as expected.

So you have a 10mb on file attachments but the 5mb don't work. How big is the one that attached ok? This could actually be a server limitation, might have to ask host. If most mp4 files attach successfully then I'm assuming its either that specific file or your host needs to investigate on their end.

I just tried to upload the file here in this topic. It doesn't upload, too!

The mp4 file has 4 MB.

I zipped it to a .zip file and tried to upload it here in this topic, than comes this error: The uploaded file is too large.

Check you admin stats:


Pay attention tot php post_max_size and upload_max_filesize.

Which device/OS does the video originate from?

Only certain formats/codecs are supported.

I used a video converter like https://video.online-convert.com/de/umwandeln-in-mp4 and now it works.

The user said, Galaxy S10 mobile with Android. The video has not been edited, only saved it in a smaller resolution so that it get under 10mb.

The original video has this codecs: AAC, H.264
